Remedial Massage

I specialize in sports massage and injury rehabilitation. My approach combines deep tissue techniques with a focus on holistic well-being to help clients recover, reduce pain, and improve physical performance.

I currently offer remedial massage treatments from two Adelaide clinics. Each clinic operates independently, so prices, availability, treatment lengths, and clinic-specific details may vary depending on where you book.

Treatments with me can be intensive, as I often use deep tissue techniques and firm pressure where appropriate. Some soreness after treatment can be normal and usually settles within a few days. I recommend staying hydrated and taking it easy after your session to support recovery.

If you have any concerns or questions before booking, feel free to reach out.

  • If it is your first time booking at "The Hive", please select "New Client" and complete the intake form before your appointment.
  • For focused treatment on a specific area, I usually recommend starting with a 30-minute session.
  • For more comprehensive treatment or multiple areas of concern, a 60-minute session is generally the better option.

Choosing the right treatment

  • If this is your first appointment with me, or you are coming in with a new issue, please choose one of the Initial Remedial Massage options.
  • Initial Focused Remedial Massage is best for one main area of concern, such as neck and shoulders, headaches, calves, arms, or another isolated issue.
  • Initial Extended Remedial Massage is recommended when multiple areas require attention during the same session, for example back, glutes, legs, neck, or more complex full-body tension patterns.

Common treatment examples

If you are unsure which treatment is most appropriate, please review the common treatment examples below. Every treatment is tailored individually, however these are some common examples of how I typically approach different presentations. If you are still unsure, or if you have any questions about the treatment, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected]

Lower back problems

I would typically work on the hamstrings, ITB, glutes, lower back, quads, and hip flexors. Clients can generally expect approximately 25–40 minutes of hands-on treatment time depending on complexity.

Blocked neck / neck tension / headaches

I would typically work on the upper back, shoulders, and neck. Clients can generally expect approximately 15–25 minutes of hands-on treatment time depending on presentation.

Upper back stiffness / soreness

Often posture-related. I would typically work on the lower back, upper back, shoulders, neck, and pectorals. Clients can generally expect approximately 20–30 minutes of hands-on treatment time depending on presentation.

Legs for athletes

Common for runners, football players, cyclists, and other athletes. I would typically work on the calves, hamstrings, ITB, glutes, quads, and hip flexors. Clients can generally expect approximately 30–50 minutes of hands-on treatment time depending on presentation.
